National Data Analysis System now available!
The Child Welfare League of America, in cooperation with the state child
welfare agencies, presents the nationās first comprehensive, interactive
child welfare database: the National Data Analysis System (NDAS). The NDAS
harnesses technology to promote effective integration of research, policy
and practice.
The NDAS puts child welfare statistics at the fingertips of Internet users,
creating customized tables and graphs and providing information and links
necessary to understand the data. The NDAS:
* Integrates national child welfare data from many sources, presenting data
in customized tables and graphs.
* Provides access to data via a point and click web-site interface.
* Displays data sources and explanatory notes, and provides descriptive text
with each pre-defined table and graph.
* Downloads any data table for more in-depth analysis.
* Features general State Summaries, with important information necessary to
understand and interpret each individual state's data.
* Links to child welfare agency web-sites, state statutes, and other sources
of child welfare data and information available on the web.
* Provides an ongoing forum for developing uniform data standards in the
child welfare field.
