Virginio,
In the US, it has changed rather markedly over the last thirty years from a
question of family cultural values, to a "standard" cultural value. Many
sub-cultures are quite open about exposure of children to sexual encounters
of the parents such as the Seminole Indians of Florida and the south. Rural
cultures are more "open" than urban, and more "complaints" are filed in
urban areas than rural. In this area, "we" are often rather silly.
