Subject: Failure to Thrive

I am in the midst of developing an outpatient clinic geared to care for the
abused and neglected our team evaluates. As I work through protocols the
one area I would like to ask for help with is the caring for FTT's. Could
you please share with me some of your experiences, protocols, suggestions
etc. I am focusing more on protocols for the care of children being
monitored in the care of their parent(s.)
I would be interested in the specifics regarding services and specific
growth expectations. The greatest weakness is of course the psychological
and therapeutic eval/treatment for the mother. During the inpatient
evaluation it is really hard in our institution to provide a good
diagnostic for the mother.

I would love any input regarding the eval, treatment of FTT. Please
circulate and I would share findings. thanks jill
