Re: Unusual first or given names of children who have beenphysi



I agree with Sandra, and would go further to say that  identifying particular 
names as strange or unusual is usually a reflection of our own cultural bias. 
 And I just have to ask, what would be the point of this line of inquiry?  
Are we going to then develop of list of names that suggest children with 
those names are at risk of physical or sexual abuse?  Are we going to target 
children with names like Crystal or Prescious for prevention or development 
services?  I suggest not.
