Lifetime Prevalence of Abuse in Texas and US

Hello all,

 

I am doing research on child abuse in Texas and was hoping to find good data on the lifetime prevalence of both physical abuse and sexual abuse in the state as well as nationwide.  There seems to be a wide range in estimates, so I was hoping someone in this group could suggest some of the most reputable organizations or studies providing information on lifetime prevalence of these types of child abuse.
