> Hello,
>
> Currently I'm constructing a reseach proposal (for my PhD) on "The Effect
> of physical abuse on Children Psychosocial Development". Besides focusing
> on the children's developmental (psychosocial) aspect, I would also like
to
> examine their resiliency - why some are more resilient than others
(factors
> contributing), and finally to come out with a module to help these
> unfortunate children. Therefore, I would be very
> grateful if anyone could advice me or suggest some additional
> references/articles related to this. Addressing this problem (child
> abuse)without finding alternative or ways to help these children to
> 'survive' and 'bounce back' is not good enough. Therefore, I
> personally feels that we can do something (to help) to "boost back" the
> children self-esteem and self-confident. I would really like to be in
> touch with anyone who are interested on this subject.
