I'm looking for a national organization to recommend that parents can contact if they are worried about their own parenting, and especially that they might maltreat their children.  An organization name or website is all that's needed.  I'm not looking for a criminal justice response but a compassionate response for parents in need of parenting guidance and assistance.

Parents Anonymous perhaps? http://www.parentsanonymous.org/

Any guidance or recommendations you can provide will be greatly appreciated -
Cathy
