Kristi, There is a great early education and parenting program called the Parent Child Home program for children 2 to 4 years old. I believe there is some research out of Indiana University of Pennsylvania that finds this program also reduces risk of abuse and neglect. Take Care Trista L. I am wondering if anyone is aware of an early education program, eg., Head Start, Early Head Start, etc. that has been evaluated for an impact on child maltreatment. My sense is that many of these programs have been rigorously evaluated, but I haven't come across any that include child maltreatment among the outcomes being assessed. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks! -Kristi Slack
