Post-doctoral Research Associate position:

State University of New York at Stony Brook
Department of Psychology 

To assist in conducting a study with the overarching purpose of bringing to 
bear both the spouse and child abuse literatures in exploring family violence at 
the level of the family and in evaluating predictors of the full range of partner 
and parent aggression as exhibited by both men and women in the same 
families. The study is funded by a 5-yr, NIMH grant awarded to Drs. Dan 
O’Leary, Susan O’Leary, and Amy Slep. The position requires a Ph.D. in 
clinical psychology with a background in family violence and/or marital or 
parenting research.  Responsibilities include recruiting subjects and 
collecting/processing data; opportunities are available to develop collateral 
projects. Salary is $28-34,000/year; start date is no later than Sept. 1, 1999; 
and a two-year commitment is required. Send vita, three letters of reference,
