The Urban Institute, a Washington, D.C. based non-profit research 
organization/"think tank" is seeking to hire a Senior Research 
Associate to design, conduct, and supervise research focusing on 
child welfare services and policy.  Candidates should have experience 
in both qualitative and quantitative research methods including 
structured and semi-structured interviews, focus groups, phone and 
mail surveys, and case record reviews.   Initial assignments will 
include research focused on the effects of welfare refrom on the 
child welfare system, child welfare financing, and kinship foster 
care.
