Hi - we don't have an "audit" tool , but have recently completed an analysis of factors associated with different CPS decisions along the continuum from intake to case closure on 20,000 CPS cases. The sample size allowed us to analyze a number of different factors including child and family demographics, case characteristics, risk factors etc., by type of abuse. This was a three year study looking at the effectiveness of CPS decision making. Re-referral, recurrence and placement were the outcomes of interest. This was not a process study, however, we examined some process issues in the analysis.
