drug and alcohol and child protection

dear colleagues,
i am interested in best-practice models, recent policy, procedures,
and research in relation to drug using parents and child protection. 
i do not need generalist material, nor do i need articles from the
standard  (cp) places (child abuse & neglect;  child abuse review;
etc). what would be useful would be:
interagency protocols; addiction articles; demonstration
projects/pilots; ideas and thoughts.

i am a senior policy advisor in the nsw health dept in australia and
i am exploring this at the moment.
