Subject: Statistics on Child Abuse
In response to Joseph Horvath's request for material on child abuse
statistics (see below), the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA)
has a recent publication, entitled The Stat Book: A look at the
States. It is one of the most up-to-date and comprehensive resources
regarding the status of child maltreatment in the U.S. Further
information can be obtained at CWLA's web site: www.cwla.org or
contact the publications department at (202) 638-2952 or e-mail:
books@cwla.org.

Hi everybody,
I would be very interested in new data about the prevalence of
child-maltreatment
/-abuse in the U.S. and European countries. Does anybody know of related
new statistics and research results? Are there any sources on the WWW?
Any information appreciated.
Kind regards,
Joseph
