One book you might want to look at is "The healing poewr of Play: Working
with abused children" by Eliana Gil (Guilford Press, 1991). It contains
both a review of various therapeutic technics, suggestions on how to use
play to intervene, and a description of a few case studies.
I also remember coming across at least two articles in the journal "The
School Counselor" (both in the 1990's) on this issue but cannot recall
specific reference info. You might want to try the web, ERIC site, to
locate them.>
