adolescent sex offenders
Dear Ineke Way,
I recently saw your message on the listserv looking for information
on a number of issues involving adolescent sex offenders.
The National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information
does not distribute a "standard" publication on this topic, but we do
have information in our documents database that may be of interest to
your in your research. After conducting a preliminary search, using
the term "adolescent sex offenders", the result was 62 titles were
identified in the date range 1992-1997. Of those titles,
approximately six of them included information on research theory or
method.
Our entire documents database of over 24,000 titles is available for
searching via our web site at: http://www.calib.com/nccanch; please
select menu item "On Line Databases and Directories". You will find
the citation information and abstracts only. If you identify
documents that you would like to have for your research, the
Clearinghouse can photocopy documents not under copyright for a cost
recovery fee of $.10 per page.
Or, if you prefer, we can do the search for you. We do charge a
small fee for this service. If you are interested, please call our
toll-free number, (800) 394-3366, and speak with an Information
Specialist who will provide additional details about this service.
You might also want to contact the Perpetrator Prevention Program at
the Kempe Children's Center (formerly the Natl Adolescent Perpetrator
Network), (303) 864-5192 or the Association for the Treatment of
Sexual Abusers (ATSA), Beaverton, OR, (503) 643-1023.
If the Clearinghouse can be of further assistance with your research,
please let us know.
Sincerely,
Sandi McLeod
