Thank You Barbara Bates!

Those of you who are funded by or work with the National Center on Child
Abuse and Neglect are probably aware that NCCAN's Research Coordinator,
Barbara Bates, is leaving her position.  After 32 years of service to the
federal government Barbara is striking out to the private sector.  Next
week she begins working for Educational Services Corporation in Washington,
DC.  

Barbara has been a strong advocate for research funding in our field.  As
the federal project officer for the National Data Archive on Child Abuse
and Neglect since the project's inception, she has provided us with
unfailing support and expert guidance.  On behalf of the Archive staff and
the many researchers and students we serve, we would like thank Barbara for
her dedicated service and wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
