Ms. Knauss,

This sounds like a very interesting topic.  How would you define "verbal 
abuse"?  What is the criteria for which you are looking that makes it 
separate from emotional abuse?  I work for a CPS agency and would be very 
interested in your results.  Could you please keep me posted?

I am currently doing research on how verbal abuse (separate from
emotional abuse) affects children.  I am having quite a bit of
difficulty finding studies done on this subject.  If you have any
information that would lead me to studies already done in this area or
other suggestions.
