post-doc opportunities

The Trauma Evaluation, Treatment, and Research Program of the Center for Child and Family Health, N.C. (a collaborative endeavor between Duke Univ., Univ. of N.C., and N.C. Central Univ.) is seeking a post-doctoral psychology trainee to work with us in completing psychological evaluations of abused, neglected and otherwise traumatized children and their families.

Although the position emphasizes assessment and evaluation, there should be opportunities for supervision in trauma treatment as well. This position involves travel to contracting county Departments of Social Services (day-trips) in North Carolina. There may be opportunities to assist in the research projects and development of programs. The Center is uniquely positioned to provide a continuum of medical, psychological, evaluation, treatmrent, case management, and legal services to child/adolescent victims of trauma.

If anyone is interested: contact Lisa Amaya-Jackson, MD, MPH at LAJ@acpub.duke.edu or call (919)419-3474 or (919) 684-4483.
