I am looking for information on the indicaters of child abuse severity that
child abuse hotline staff use. I am aware that there are several levels of
responses that can be taken based on the information that the hotline
worker
receives. My goal is to know exactly the determining factors present for
each level of intervention as well as the different types of intervention
that most hotline staff arrange for. I have been told that these guidlines
vary from state to state and perhaps from city to city so I would
appreciate
receiving any information on the validity of this as well as the specific
differences.

If anyone knows of a central source for receiving this information please
email me.
