Greetings,  I think I received more requests to pass along what was
suggested than recommendations.  Anyway, here's what's come in so far.

Iowa Parent Behavior Inventory (Crase, Clark, & Pease, 1979) - available
from the Iowa State Department of Child Dev.

Parenting Inventory  (Fox, J Pediatric Psych, 1992, 17, 231-239_ -
measures expectations, discipl., nurturance

The Parenting Scale (Arnold, et al., Psych Assessment, 1993, 5, 137-144 -
laxness, overreactivity, verbosity

Holden et al (Merrill Palmer Quarterly, 1995, 41,431-452) - parental
reports of 9 common discipl. repsonses to child misbehavior

Parent-Child Relationship Inventory (Western Psych. Services) - parental
support, satisfaction, involvement, communication, limit setting,
autonomy, & role orientation.
