The National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect Information is 
looking for individuals to provide information services to practitioners and 
researchers in the field.  A service of the National Center on Child Abuse 
and Neglect, the Clearinghouse collects, organizes, and disseminates 
information on all aspects of child maltreatment.

The following positions are available:

Program Specialist
Must have direct field experience with child protective services 
and/or family preservation; understand current child welfare issues 
and research; knowledge of Federal/State/local programs for families 
and children; and strong communication, networking, and technical 
assistance skills.  MSW or MA in related discipline required.

Information Specialist
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to respond 
to inquires for professionals; experience in database searching; and 
knowledge of children and family issues.  Minimum of BA in social 
sciences and 2+ years experience providing information services.
