Experimental neglect scale of CAP

I am currently using the Child Abuse Potential Inventory (Milner, J.S.,
1980) as part of an evaluation of a home visiting program for first time
parents of newborns.  I see in the CAP manual that an experimental neglect
scale is suggested but needs construct and predictive validity as well as
reliability data to evaluate its usefulness.  Is anyone currently working in
this area?  I am also interested if anyone has used the experimental neglect
scale in addition to the abuse scale.  If you prefer, we can communicate
