Subject:RE: Child Death-Related Investigative Reports

Emily, Could you forward the ones from Mass to me?? Thank you! ________________________________ From: Emily.Douglas@bridgew.edu To: Child-Maltreatment-Research-L@cornell.edu Date: Thu, 1 Oct 2015 13:13:36 -0400 Subject: Child Death-Related Investigative Reports Greetings! I am in search of state (or county-level) investigative reports which follow the death of a CPS-involved child. These reports usually document the investigation re: the circumstances leading up to the death and the agency’s involvement with the child/family, and also identify “problem areas” and recommendations for change. Just to be clear, these reports are distinct from those issued by child death review teams. I have identified 4-5 such reports (MA, FL, VA, CT), but would appreciate learning about more.
