Subject:RE: Question on frameworks re: screening for and supporting a successful adoption

Our agency, Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley, could be a resource if you would like more information on the Training in Adoption Competencies through CASE. We have a 15 year history of providing support to adoptive families. Our agency has been involved in providing training and consultation with adoption competencies through TAC training through CASE and working toward establishing this as an evidence based practice. We would be happy to provide information on our experience with this training and how we are using this to strengthen parenting knowledge and family relationships and prevent disruptions at our agency. Thank you. I am looking for tools, models and programs to facilitate recruitment of adoptive parents, enhance their skill levels, and that facilitate placement matching. Evidence-based post adoption services would be included. If anyone can point me to evidence-based tools, models, or programs, that would be very helpful.
